# Crypto Screener MCP server

Let your AI assistant work with Crypto Screener: screen the market, read derivatives data and order-book walls, and manage your alerts and watchlists. It signs in as you, so there is no API key to copy.

Server URL (Streamable HTTP): `https://mcp.cryptoscreener.app/`

## Connect your client

Add the server URL to your client. On first use it opens a Crypto Screener sign-in page: log in with your usual account and approve access.

## What your agent can do

The agent gets tools for the same data and actions you have in Crypto Screener.

- **Screener and market data**: Screen the market by filters, see top movers and volume leaders, find volatile tickers, read ticker stats and a market map snapshot.
- **Candles and chart context**: Price and open-interest candles for a ticker, including second candles.
- **Derivatives**: Funding, open interest, basis, cross-exchange prices, BTC beta and decoupling, pairs spread, session and hour seasonality.
- **Order-book densities**: Large limit-order levels for a ticker.
- **Microstructure** (Pro): VWAP, volume profile and trade intensity.
- **Scalp-setup scan** (Pro): A composite scan for scalping setups.
- **Alerts**: Read alert logs, see which alerts are noisy and run a quick backtest (long windows need Pro). Creating, editing, enabling, disabling and removing complex alerts needs Pro.
- **Watchlists and saved filters**: Work with your watchlists and saved filters. Pinning tickers needs Pro.
- **News and training videos**: Read news posts and find training videos.
- **Account**: Subscription and payment history, trial eligibility, referral and partner stats.
- **Knowledge base**: Search the user guide and the trading playbooks.
- **Position sizing**: Size a position by stop distance or by ATR.

## All tools

This list is generated from the server code. Read-only tools never change your data: every change goes through a preview that you confirm. Pro marks tools that need a Pro subscription.

## Example prompts

Paste any of these into your connected assistant. Creating or changing alerts needs Pro.

- Show the 10 most volatile Binance futures over the last 5 minutes
- Create an alert when any Bybit perp rises 3% in 5 minutes. Show me the preview first
- Where are the biggest order-book walls on BTCUSDT right now?
- Which coins have the most extreme funding right now?
- Which of my alerts are the noisiest and how do I tune them?
- Size a position: $1,000 deposit, 1% risk, stop 2% below entry

## Security and limits

- You sign in with your own Crypto Screener account over OAuth 2.1. The agent acts only as you and sees only your data; your user id is never a tool argument.
- Every change (alerts, watchlists, filters, pins) goes through a preview and confirm step, so the agent shows you what it is about to do first.
- There is no SQL, shell, file or arbitrary HTTP access.
- API secrets of linked exchange keys are never returned.
- Some tools are available on Pro only.
- Requests are rate-limited per account; Pro has a higher limit.
